An Analog Refractometer that measures the total dissolved solids of a solution in Brix or ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation). Analog refractometers offer a reliable, repeatable measurements that can determine the gravity of your solution. To use simply add a sample of your solution inside the viewing area and view through the scope lens to see the up and down Brix scale.
Brix reading can be used to determine wort sugars of an alcohol, beer or wine. Knowing the wort can help you choose the exact moment to complete the fermentation process, or to move onto the next step.
Calibrate with the included screwdriver underneath the manual calibration knob. Comes with pipette for easy filling and a plastic carry case with foam padding.
